Zigs Zesty Dip

Serves: Makes 15 - 20

This recipe was introduced to me when I was backpacking/climbing in the Sawtooth range in Idaho. I lived off of this dip and tortilla chips for over a week while in the backcountry. Its a great recipe for at home, car trips, campgrounds, & on the go! It is a simple but great tasting recipe with tons of nutritional values.

*Keep sealed & refrigerated (if camping, store in shade, cold rivers, or bury near camp)

Ingredients

  • 1 Can of Corn (Drained)
  • 1 Can of Black Beans (Drained)
  • 1 Diced Tomato
  • 1/2 Onion Diced
  • Bundle (4-5) of Green Onions Diced
  • 1 Avocado Diced
  • 4 Sweet Peppers Diced
  • 1/4 Cup Jalapeños Diced (optional)
  • Ground Cumin
  • 1 Lime
  • ZESTY Italian Dressing
  • Pepper (for seasoning)
  • Cilantro (for seasoning)

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Add cumin, cilantro, pepper, and lime to personal liking.
  3. Finish with ZESTY Italian Dressing. ENJOY!!
